Living Proof: Straight Making No Frizz Styling Spray

Living Proof: Straight Making No Frizz Styling Spray for fine to medium hair is a lightweight spray that dries fast and can also be used as a touch-up during the day or as a detangler. It’s good for all hair types and can be used on color-treated hair, too. I sprayed this on my damp hair before I blew dry my hair. The directions said to saturate hair, so I used more product than I would have usually used… But saturating my hair with a product when the first ingredient is SD Alcohol 40 seemed… damaging.

(A little note on alcohols and your hair: The good ones are Lauryl alcohol, Cetyl alcohol, Myristyl alcohol, Stearyl alcohol, Cetearyl alcohol and Behenyl alcohol. The bad ones are SD alcohol, SD alcohol 40, Alcohol denat, Propanol, Propyl alcohol and Isopropyl alcohol.)

Anyway, I dried my hair with a round brush and it turned out pretty straight, but it seemed a little dry. After I added a touch of serum, my blowout was nice, straight and shiny. And it lasted much longer than usual! I wouldn’t use this product a lot, though, since it would be too damaging on the hair. Price: 3.4 oz for $24

The Living Proof website recommends that if you have dry or damaged hair, you should bump up from the No Frizz spray to the No Frizz cream or from the No Frizz cream to the No Frizz treatment.

This Living Proof No Frizz got a lot of buzz when it first came out… I am curious if any of you have tried it and what you think.
